1972 – NASA Pioneer 10

Lancée en 1972, la sonde Pioneer 10 devint la première à traverser la ceinture d'astéroïdes, à approcher Jupiter et à filer au-delà de notre système solaire, emportant avec elle une plaque dorée gravée à l'intention d'éventuels voyageurs venus d'ailleurs. Launched in 1972, the Pioneer 10 probe became the first spacecraft to cross the asteroid belt, fly past Jupiter, and head beyond our solar system, carrying a golden plaque engraved for any travelers who might one day find it.
